Football is played by most of the country of the world . In comparison to
football very less country is playing cricket on international level.
But Football fever is yet to struck Indian masses… Why??
Parthajeet Sarmah says…
because we’re lazy b*****ds who’re too used to cricket to care about football, so we simply sit by and let the sports commissions steal all the money that goes in government grants towards the development of football as a sport, while all our best players are being weaned away by English county clubs who actually realise their true potential. As a result, we’re reduced to cheering for Brazil and Argentina. Ask a random idiot to spell Argentina, we’ll see the truth.
I speak
@ partho how true… now i don wonder abt the less comments expressed on tis status….
Parthajeet Sarmah says…
cricket purists say that football is a rough game, and cricket is a gentleman’s game. if thats the case, people like Harbhajan Singh, Sreesanth and Andy Symonds should be banned, rite? They’re not gentlemen by any measure of the term.
I speak

Parthajeet Sarmah says…
Thats not the point re.. what i’m saying is, footballers come off exactly as they are. as in, jo hai woh dikhta hai, unlike a lot of cricketers/cricket fans who are totally pretentious…
